Blogging is a relatively new concept which has originated since the inception of the Internet. Simply, blogging is the act of writing to reach mass audience by utilizing the Internet as a principal mode. People who write blogs are known as bloggers. Now, professional bloggers have taken the concept a step further and developed it into a more professional rhetoric which includes the most common concepts found in Journalism. Like Journalism, bloggers write everything from personal diaries, travel tales to news reports and product reviews.
Most recent trends in blogging involve the use of video and pictures, a concept which has given rise to video blogging. Bogging differs from the available literally content due to its informal style. Blogging has gain wide spread acceptance around the world because it provides writers much more freedom than the typical press. Unlike, Journalism where most bloggers are restricted by particular guidelines, in blogging, the writer uses whatever style they prefer. Furthermore, Internet has provided bloggers a medium to express their views without being dictated on the style of writing. It will not be an oversimplification to suggest that blogging has provided a new dimension to Journalism in a more refined manner. Just like the Internet, Blogging is emerging as the most liked medium.
