Blogging is becoming a very popular phenomenon nowadays. Many people have come up with their own blogs, which are based on a variety of different topics. Blogs are a great way of letting people know your opinions and thoughts, and is also a good social networking tool.
There are many different kinds of blogs. Blogging can be classified either in terms of the type of content or the purpose of the blog. If we look at the type of content, there are basically three types of blogs. In one type of blogging, there is only text and the writer simply writes his thoughts for others to read. In another type, the writer may either use pictures to supplement the text or just on their own. These types of blogs are frequently used by travelers and tourists. Finally, we have video blogging. In this type of blog, videos are uploaded by the blogger. These videos can be of the blogger himself, talking about various issues or any other type of videos.
With reference to the purpose of blogs, there are again many types of blogging. A personal blog is one in which the blogger just shares his personal experiences and opinions. This is more like a personal diary. Micro blogs are also a kind of personal blogs, and these are mostly used in social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Corporate blogging is a way for business to market their brands and products.
Similarly, such blogs can also be created for clubs and societies to allow people to interact. Tutorials are also a type of online blogging, in which the blogger may upload videos to show how something is done. These types of blogs are usually interactive and people can leave their comments and questions at the end. Blogs can also be classified in different genres. A blog in which fashion is discussed can be termed as a fashion blog. In this way there are many different types of blogs such as political blogs, travel blogs, music blogs and art blogs.
Blogging has become a popular way for people to connect with others, and it is an effective social networking tool. Also, it has now become one of the best marketing tools and is used by many brands to promote their products. Not only that, many individuals are also making good money by blogging, which makes it a viable business idea as well.
