When the bad times come, and making your monthly mortgage payment becomes a problem, this is serious. With all that has happened in the housing industry in the last few years we all know someone who is having a problem keeping their house. This is a sad state of affairs. Paying your mortgage loan is a top priority.
So what do you do when you are facing foreclosure? Well, you need to talk to the prevention pros for sure. And be sure who these guys are when you pick them. I personally vote for a non-profit organization. There are many people out there who will not have your best interests at heart. Many for-profit groups will not do a good job and you will end up losing your house to the bank when they foreclose on your mortgage... And we don't want that at all.
