I love Springtime! I will admit that winter is my favorite season, but the pallete is much too monochrome for my liking. With spring you get an excellent assortment of colors, signifying rebirth and growth. Plus my birthday is the first week of May and I always have perfect weather. I love opening up my birthday cards while sitting under a cerulean blue sky. The temperature is neither to hot or cold. You can go for a stroll with your sweetheart and not feel the heat. Well, the heat from the weather. Anything else is between the two of you.
The challenge with birthday cards is finding one that appeals to the personality of the recipient. One of my favorite birthday cards featured Jesus riding a brontosaurus. My oldest sister gave that to me and man, I just thought to myself: she knows me too well. On the other hand, while I still have the birthday cards that are written in Ukrainian (that you Dito), I value them because they are a tribute to my heritage. Not a hilarious juxtaposition of anachronisms. Just a reminder about where I came from.
On the other hand, not every one of my birthday cards is cherished and saved. A growing trend with greeting cards is to use electronic cards. Once again, I was first introduced to this by my sister. She gave me a very excellent card which featured cool graphics and sound. Electronic birthday cards have the advantage of being interactive. Plus, if you wait until the last minute it does not matter. They get sent immediately. Really, electronic birthday cards a practically designed for procrastinators and slackers. Hmmm... by slackers for slackers? Would that make a good sales pitch?
Well it looks like this should be up and read well before my birthday (only eight days away at the time of my writing). Feel free to hook me up with some memorable birthday cards. A lot of electronic birthday cards can actually be sent for free, so it does not have to cost you a single penny.
