The term natural dog food is very confusing as we dont have any strong definition of word "natural". The question is that does "natural" means we cant add any thing to the dog food, or it means that food product is strictly organically grown. We dont even have exact definition of organic. "Natural" word gives birth to many questions to which we have no answers. Dictionary also offers number of definitions of word "natural", which one is most authentic, nobody is sure. It is better to hear the voice of your heart and be logical. Perhaps the natural dog food is the food a dog eats in the natural environment, or it is simply the food that does not have any harmful ingredient.

Natural dog food is good for dogs brain, and it gives him cellular energy. This cellular energy is necessary to repair tissues, organs and cells. There are so many other functions within dogs body that start functioning properly with this food.
The natural dog food should be well designed and equalized. It means you should be very careful about selecting the food ingredients. Bear in mind that the food should contain all the nutritional components which are essential for dogs organs and systems. A balanced diet will help the dog to fight against diseases and aid him in the healing process.
Natural dog food should also contain the essential enzymes. Natural dog food has advantage over processed dog food in a way that in processed dog food the enzymes die because of processing the food in heat, while it remains alive in natural dog food. Digestive enzymes should be a part of dogs food because it speeds up digestion process.
Natural dog food is made by combining different foods like: meaty bones, pulpy vegetables, fruits, garlic, yogurt, raw eggs, and raw organ meats of liver, heart, kidney etc. Your dog food must also have added supplements like: fish body oil, olive oil, cod liver oil, flax seed oil, or ground flax seed meal, to have essential fatty acids. In addition, natural dog food should also contain Vitamin B, C & E supplements in the form of kelp powder or brewers yeast.
